Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC)
The Comprehensive Women's Health Center's Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC) offers patients passionate and expert care while managing early pregnancy complications including vaginal bleeding in pregnancy and pregnancy of unknown location. While some bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy is not always a concern, our compassionate and knowledgeable care staff are here to help rule out any potential problems with ultrasounds, and to diagnose any potential miscarriages or ectopic pregnancies.
Most patients who experience early pregnancy complications end up in emergency rooms or urgent cares offices multiple times. Our goal at CWCH is to offer patients more individualized and compassionate care in a clinic setting with OB-GYNs who understand their special circumstances and who can follow their care more closely.
Our EPAC care team offers:
- Early pregnancy scans to rule out any issues with the pregnancy
- Pregnancy of unknown location follow-up
- Diagnostic tests for patients experiencing vaginal bleeding during early pregnancy
How do I schedule an EPAC appointment?:
For physicians: Referral to CWHC/free text indicating EPAC through EPIC or call the office at (303) 724-8576.
For patients: Call (303) 724-8576 to find out whether you are the correct candidate for our Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC).

Miscarriage is when you lose a pregnancy during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy. Miscarriages happen in about 10-20% of confirmed pregnancies and happen most often when the fetus does not develop correctly.
